Position Overview: The Grade 4 Sales Representative (Government Sector) is responsible for driving sales growth within government agencies and departments. This role involves identifying opportunities, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and ensuring that solutions align with government procurement standards. The representative must possess strong product knowledge and be able to effectively communicate product value, compliance advantages, and technical features to key government stakeholders. Skills Required: Strong knowledge of the government procurement process and compliance requirements. Proven experience in delivering technical or product demonstrations. Solid understanding of the company’s product portfolio, including key features, benefits, and differentiators. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for managing leads and opportunities. Analytical and problem-solving abilities for tailoring solutions to government clients. Attention to detail and ability to work within strict procurement guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Government Account Management: Identify and engage with government agencies and departments to generate new leads. Nurture relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their objectives and compliance needs. Product Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct live product demos tailored to government use cases, highlighting compliance features and benefits. Present technical capabilities clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work with product, marketing, and legal teams to ensure solutions meet government compliance and standards. Communicate client feedback to product teams for potential enhancements. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all sales activities, proposals, and contracts adhere to government procurement policies.
