Job Description (JD)Position Title: Senior Associate Pre-Sales Consultant (Grade 2)Department:Pre-Sales / Sales EngineeringReports To: Pre-Sales Manager / Senior Pre-Sales EngineerLocation: Gurugram Experience Level:1-2 years of pre-sales, technical sales, or a related role, with experience in product demonstrations, POC coordination, and crafting technical proposals. Some background in compliance standards and project coordination is advantageous. Position Overview:The Solution Sales Engineer will assist in managing the sales process and bid lifecycle, ensuring timely submissions and smooth coordination between teams. The role supports sales activities, documentation, and process improvement initiatives, contributing to operational efficiency and successful deal closures. Skills Required:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).Basic understanding of RFP/RFQ processes.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technical workshops for prospective clients.Design and present tailored solutions that align with customer environments and use cases.Prepare and deliver presentations and technical proposals to customers and partners.Respond to RFPs/RFIs with high-quality technical content.BID/ Documentation ManagementAct as a key technical advisor and product advocate during the sales cycle.Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, solutions, and roadmap.Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer requirements and market trends.Support post-sale transition to implementation/delivery teams.
