About the Role

Manufacturing / Fabrication Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review fabrication drawings, GTPs, and calculations as per technical specifications, IS & IES standards, and customer requirements for transformers up to 50MVA, 132 KVA class.
• Inspect and ensure quality of incoming raw materials and bought-out items.
• Coordinate with customers for inspection at vendor sites.
• Prepare and follow up on non-conformance reports to ensure proper closure.
• Conduct

  visual, dimensional, pressure, and vacuum tests

  on fabricated parts and welded joints.
• Oversee

  arc & gas cutting, welding, spray painting, shot blasting, and surface treatment processes

  .
• Standardize fabrication processes to improve production efficiency.
• Manage resources, materials, and personnel to optimize production.
• Ensure compliance with

  safety and quality standards

  in the electrical industry.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years

  of experience in transformer tank fabrication, welding, machining, or related mechanical manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise in

  welding, shot blasting, pressure and vacuum testing, and surface treatment processes

  .
• Knowledge of heat treatment processes, hot-dip galvanizing, powder and wet painting, and E-coating (KTL).
• Strong team management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in

  AutoCAD 2D

  and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/fabrication drawings.
