Senior Production Manager

As the Senior Production Manager at Hindustan Feeds in Shrirampur, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading the production department at the Cotton Cake Plant. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of high-quality cotton cake products, managing the production process, coordinating teams, optimizing production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Production Management:** - Oversee day-to-day operations of the production plant, ensuring efficient production of cotton cake in line with company standards. - Ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. - Develop and implement production schedules, monitoring adherence. - Allocate and manage resources effectively to achieve operational goals. - Coordinate with planning, quality control, and logistics teams for smooth operations. - **Team Leadership:** - Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to the production team. - **Process Optimization & Cost Control:** - Analyze production processes continuously to identify areas for improvement. - Implement lean manufacturing practices and cost-saving initiatives for optimized production. - **Quality Assurance:** - Ensure production processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department to ensure product specifications are met. - Implement corrective actions for quality issues and address root causes. - **Maintenance & Equipment:** - Work with the maintenance team to ensure proper equipment maintenance. - Lead efforts to prevent downtime through proactive equipment maintenance. - **Reporting & Analysis:** - Prepare and submit regular production reports to management, highlighting key metrics. - Forecast production needs, analyze production data, and provide recommendations for improvements. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Engineering, Industrial / Production Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in production management. - Strong understanding of production processes and machinery in cotton cake or related industries. - Experience in implementing lean manufacturing techniques and process optimization.,
