Senior Production Manager

As the Senior Manager of Production Planning at our automotive manufacturing facility, your role will involve overseeing the planning and scheduling of production activities. You will need to have a deep understanding of production processes and supply chain management, along with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that production goals are met while upholding high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement production planning strategies to meet production targets and customer demands. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and resource allocation. - Analyse production data to identify and address potential issues. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost. - Manage and mentor a team of production planners to ensure team success. - Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials. - Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in production planning software and tools. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
