Senior Power BI Engineer (Customer-Facing)
Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)
Experience: 3–5 years
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Engineer who can own our analytics delivery
end-to-end. You will be responsible for building dashboards, ensuring data
correctness, and directly engaging with enterprise customers to gather requirements,
translate them into data models, and deliver impactful insights. This role requires
strong technical BI skills and excellent communication ability.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for internal
and external stakeholders.
Interact with customers to understand analytics needs and translate them
into technical specifications.
Develop efficient data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query
transformations.
Ensure data accuracy and governance across BI pipelines.
Collaborate with backend/data teams to optimize query performance.
Automate refreshes and maintain row-level security for client data
segregation.
Provide training and support to customers for dashboard usage.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL Server.
Ability to translate business needs into analytical dashboards.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Knowledge of data modeling and relational databases.
Familiarity with Azure Data ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.) is a
plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with
customers.
