Arrowsight Private Limited (APL) is hiring a highly experienced Senior/Lead BI Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in designing and developing scalable Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Power BI dashboard design, data modeling, SQL development, and Power BI Service administration . Additionally, they should possess strong Power Automate skills , enabling workflow automation, and solid SQL DBA expertise , including database administration, backup strategies, stored procedures, triggers, SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS . We’re particularly interested in real-world Power BI dashboard examples showcasing the candidate’s ability to present data effectively and drive decision-making. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations . Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to enhance data efficiency. Provide SQL database administration support , including backup, performance optimization, and recovery strategies . Implement automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes. Manage and administer Power BI Service , including data gateways, workspace security, and report distribution . Offer Power BI architectural solutions , ensuring scalability and performance optimization of DAX queries and data models . Support Azure administration tasks related to Power BI data sources and deployment. Oversee data security, governance, and compliance within Power BI. Guide and mentor junior SQL & Power BI developers , promoting best practices. Ensure data quality, ETL processes, and effective integration with SSIS and other data tools. Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience in Power BI dashboard and report development . Strong proficiency in SQL , including stored procedures, triggers, and query optimization. Expertise in Power BI Robots or similar BI automation tools. Hands-on experience with Power Automate to automate workflows effectively. In-depth Power BI Service administration knowledge, including workspace management and data gateway configurations. Experience working with SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS . Strong understanding of Power BI architecture , including DAX optimization and data modeling strategies . Ability to mentor junior developers and establish best practices in BI development.
