Senior Network Engineer

Job Title: Senior Wireless Network Engineer Experience Level: 5+ Years Department: Network Engineering / IT Infrastructure Job Type: Full-time Reporting To: Network Manager / IT Infrastructure Head About the Role We are seeking a Senior Wireless Network Engineer with deep technical expertise in enterprise WLAN solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and optimization of large-scale wireless networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless wireless connectivity, enforce network security standards, and proactively troubleshoot complex wireless issues in mission-critical environments. What You Will Do Manage, support, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade WLAN infrastructures. Analyze, isolate, and resolve Wi-Fi-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Work with Mobility Controllers (AOS 8 & AOS 10), Access Points (APs), and Aruba Central. Design and review RF layouts, ensure adherence to 802.11 standards, and perform spectrum analysis as needed. Collaborate with network and security teams on VLANs, QoS, AAA configurations (RADIUS/TACACS), and firewall policies. Deliver technical support in high-pressure environments with enterprise clients. Maintain documentation of wireless infrastructure, incidents, configurations, and upgrades. Required Qualifications & Experience5+ years of hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting WLAN solutions in large enterprise environments. In-depth knowledge of 802.11 standards, RF design principles, and enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting tools. Experience with Aruba Mobility Controllers (AOS 8 & AOS 10), Access Points, and Aruba Central. Solid understanding of network segmentation (VLANs), QoS, authentication protocols, and network security best practices. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Prior experience providing premium-level support to enterprise customers. Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with SD-Branch solutions, AI-powered networking, or network automation. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools like Python, Ansible, or similar. Aruba certifications (ACMX, ACMP, ACCX) or equivalent industry certifications are a plus.
