Senior Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for buyers, handling communication, approvals, and order requirements.
• Lead product development, sample approvals, costing, and price negotiations.
• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories while maintaining vendor relationships.
• Prepare time & action plans (T&A) and monitor production schedules.
• Supervise junior merchandisers and guide them in day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct quality checks at different stages of production to meet buyer standards.
• Handle order documentation, invoices, and compliance requirements.
• Track sales performance, analyze trends, and suggest new product developments.
• Resolve issues related to delays, rejections, or buyer concerns effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in merchandising (textiles, garments, or home furnishings).
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, printing, dyeing, and garment/home furnishing production.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple orders and buyers simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
