As a Senior Merchandiser at San Dee Impex, we are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a garment manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should possess drive, confidence, and a willingness to invest in both personal and company growth. Your role will involve overseeing various aspects of fashion merchandising, ensuring that products align with client specifications and meet deadlines. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments within our team, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Key responsibilities include managing product development from inception to delivery, liaising with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards, assisting in inventory management and procurement of fabrics and trims, communicating with clients regarding order status and requirements, monitoring market trends to align products with customer expectations, and updating documentation for product specifications, costing, and samples. The qualifications for this role include a minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a fashion merchandiser or in a similar role within a garment manufacturing unit, while a Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication and organizational skills, a basic understanding of garment production processes and timelines, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
