Job Description

As a Senior Merchandiser at Achiever Apparels, you will play a crucial role in managing key international buyer accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Serving as the primary liaison for international buyers, ensuring smooth communication, updates, and alignment on product development, pricing, and delivery. - Overseeing the complete merchandising process from fabric sourcing, design development, sampling, and costing to production and shipment. - Coordinating effectively with design, sampling, and production teams to maintain workflow discipline and resolve bottlenecks proactively. - Participating in trade shows and buyer meetings, representing the company's capabilities and identifying potential business opportunities. - Strengthening existing buyer relationships and supporting management in developing new business partnerships. - Creating and monitoring T&A calendars, ensuring all milestones are achieved within agreed timelines. - Driving process adherence within the team and introducing improvements to increase efficiency and accountability. - Reviewing tech packs and coordinating with internal departments for accurate sample execution and bulk approvals. - Tracking and monitoring production status, ensuring timely dispatches and proactive communication on any delays or changes. - Providing regular updates to management on order status, shipment schedules, and business performance. - Mentoring junior merchandisers and ensuring adherence to processes and timelines within the team. - Supporting management in creating reports, sales decks, and presentations for buyer visits and reviews. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8-10 years of experience in garment merchandising, preferably within an export house catering to UK, EU, or US markets. - Strong track record in managing key buyer accounts and delivering orders on time. - Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with a high level of process orientation. - Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination abilities. - In-depth understanding of fabrics, trims, costing, and production processes. - Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and internal reporting tools. - Ability to handle multiple accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with accuracy and attention to detail. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Candidates based in Gurgaon are highly preferred.,
