Senior Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser at Sushila Textiles in Indore, India, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end order lifecycle for our knitwear manufacturing and export operations. Your responsibilities will include: - **Client Coordination:** Serving as the primary contact for international clients, addressing inquiries, negotiating terms, and providing updates on order progress. - **Order Management:** Overseeing order processing, including cost analysis, sample approvals, and ensuring timely delivery. - **Production Liaison:** Collaborating with design and production teams to align on specifications, timelines, and quality standards. - **Quality Assurance:** Conducting regular inspections to ensure products meet client and regulatory requirements. - **Export Documentation:** Preparing and verifying shipping documents for compliance with commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. - **Market Research:** Analyzing trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities. - **Post-Delivery Follow-Up:** Resolving post-shipment issues and gathering client feedback for process improvement. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Merchandising, or related field. - 3+ years of experience as a Merchandiser, preferably in knitwear/export-oriented manufacturing. - Proficiency in export procedures, ERP systems, and MS Office. - Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Team player with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
