Roles And Responsibility We are searching for a creative and talented Fashion Designer to sketch designs, select fabrics and patterns, and give instructions on how to make the products we offer. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating eye-catching, innovative designs that will propel our brand to the forefront of our industry. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the fashion industry and trends, strong sketching skills, and the ability to choose materials and patterns that will set our products apart from our competitors. Ultimately, the role of the Fashion Designer is to create appealing, high-quality designs that meet consumer needs and align with our brand’s identity. Responsibilities Create or visualise an idea and produce a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD), Adobe Illustrator, maintain styles and charts and details. Identify and predict fashion trends and styles Develop new clothing concepts and prepare sketches, designs, and samples according to client Suggest cost with details to clients Source materials and select fabrics Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop products to meet customer and market needs Coordinate with production team to ensure designs are manufactured properly Collaborate with other departments. Qualifications Detail oriented. Proven work experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role Have experience in knitted garments industry Strong portfolio of previous work showcasing originality and creativity Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to predict future trends Experience with design software, such as CAD or Illustrator Excellent drawing skills, especially human figure and clothing sketches Strong visual and color sense Strong Client communication and management skills BSc degree/Equivalent in Fashion Design or related field.
