Job Title: Associate / Senior Associate / Specialist- Medical Coding
Location: Mohali, PunjabEmployment Type: Full-Time [Work from Office]Working Location: Sector 74, Mohali- PunjabShift Time: EST [8:30 AM to 5:30 PM]

Role Overview: 

The Medical Coding Associate, Senior Associate, or Specialist is responsible for accurately assigning medical codes to diagnoses and procedures to support billing and reimbursement. This role ensures compliance with coding standards and payer requirements to facilitate accurate revenue capture. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation. 
• Review medical records and superbills to ensure coding accuracy and completeness. 
• Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding queries. 
• Ensure compliance with CMS, AMA, and payer-specific coding guidelines. 
• Identify and report coding discrepancies or documentation deficiencies. 
• Generate reports on coding accuracy and productivity metrics. 
• (Senior Associate/Specialist) Analyze coding trends and recommend improvements to enhance coding accuracy. 
• (Specialist) Mentor junior coders and handle complex coding scenarios, including specialty-specific cases. 

Requirements: 

• Should hold bachelor’s degree. 
• 1-4 years of experience in medical coding or US RCM (Associate: 0-2 years; Senior Associate: 2-3 years; Specialist: 2-4 years; SME: 3-5 years). 
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification required. 
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer coding guidelines. 
• Proficiency in RCM software (e.g., Athena, eCW etc.) and MS Office. 
• (Specialist) Proven ability to mentor peers and drive process improvements.

• E&M IP&OP. 
• Pain Management. 
• Podiatry. 
• Family Medicine. 
• Anesthesia. 
• Ophthalmology.

• Nephrology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
