Job Title: Senior Associate – US Accounting Experience Required: 4+ years Shift: Night Shift [EST] Location: Mohali, Punjab Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger (GL) Professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in handling GL operations, month-end close processes, reconciliation, and reporting. This position is for the night shift, and the candidate should be comfortable working during non-standard hours. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly and comply with internal controls and accounting principles. Support audits by providing necessary documents and explaining financial processes. Assist in the preparation of reports for management and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy. Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations. Handle any ad-hoc accounting or finance-related tasks as required. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or professional certifications like CPA/ACCA is a plus). 4+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and standards. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a night shift environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. Knowledge of IFRS or GAAP standards. Previous experience in a night shift role is preferred. .
