Senior Manager(AVP -1) for Bank of Baroda

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for comprehensive establishment of bullion desk, including but not limited to:

a) Designing front-office and back-office architecture;

b) Developing the risk management framework and control mechanisms;

c) Formulating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trading, clearing, logistics, inventory management, and regulatory compliance;

d) Coordinating IT system integration and infrastructure readiness; and

e) Ensuring preparedness for regulatory and audit requirements.

Responsible for actively managing bullion trading and operations, including but not limited to;

a) Executing trades;

b) Managing pricing and inventory;

c) Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations;

d) Overseeing logistics and vaulting; and

e) Generating MIS reports and contributing to governance and strategic reporting.

Responsible for Development of Bullion Business . Any other work assigned from time to time.

Job Specific Skills / Domain Knowledge:

Comprehensive understanding of the precious metals dealing ecosystem including but not limited to;

a) Market platforms, clearing & settlement systems;

b) Pricing strategies, procurement processes, inventory management & hedging mechanisms;

c) logistics vaulting operations, & delivery mechanisms;

d) Regulatory compliance frameworks & trad documentation requirements:

e) Accounting principles relevant to bullion transactions;

f) MIS generation & regulatory reporting;

g) Margin requirements & risk management practices;

h) Reconciliation of trades & inventory positions:

i) Coordination with clearing corporations, refinerie vaults, logistics service providers, & banking partners;

j) Preparation and maintenance documentation related to customs, GST, and cross-border transactions;

k) Management internal audits and regulatory inspections; and

l) Adherence to customer due diligence (CD enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD), know your customer (KYC), anti-money launder (AML), and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) compliance.
