Job Title: Senior Sales Professional – Electrical / Switchgear Products

Location: Coimbatore (Candidate should be from Coimbatore or willing to relocate)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Electrical Sales Professional with a strong background in Switchgear products. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of proven experience in technical sales, business development, and key account management within the electrical/switchgear industry, particularly in the Coimbatore market.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of switchgear and electrical products in the Coimbatore region, achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, consultants, contractors, and distributors.

• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training for customers to position our solutions effectively.

• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities to support strategic decisions.

• Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, proposals, and contracts in line with company policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, finance) to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.

• Provide regular market feedback and reports to management for business planning.

• Deep Technical Product Knowledge – Thorough understanding of LV/MV switchgear products, panels, and related electrical systems.

• Industry Market Awareness – Knowledge of Coimbatore and surrounding industrial markets, customer segments, and competitors.

• Strong Commercial Negotiation Acumen – Ability to structure deals, negotiate effectively, and close sales profitably.

• Resilience Self-Motivation – High level of drive, ability to work independently, and perseverance in challenging sales environments.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in sales of electrical/switchgear products, preferably with leading brands or panel builders.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the Coimbatore market or similar regions.
