Role Overview

Senior Manager – Project Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead

  project financing activities

  for solar projects (Open Access, Rooftop, and Utility-scale).
• Build and evaluate detailed

  financial models

  including IRR, DSCR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis.
• Manage end-to-end

  debt raising process

  – from preparing DPRs and loan applications to negotiations and disbursement.
• Liaise with

  banks, NBFCs, investors, and credit rating agencies

  to secure project financing.
• Review and negotiate

  term sheets, loan agreements, and financial covenants

  .
• Coordinate with internal teams (Business Development, EPC, Legal) for financial due diligence and risk assessment.
• Monitor

  cash flow, loan compliance, and repayment schedules

  for ongoing projects.
• Identify innovative financing structures such as

  leasing, hybrid, or green bonds

  to optimize project returns.

Qualifications & Skills

• MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / equivalent with strong financial background.
• Minimum

  8–12 years

  of experience in project finance, preferably in the

  renewable energy / power / infrastructure sector

  .
• Proven track record in

  debt raising, project financing, and financial closures

  .
• Strong expertise in

  financial modeling, credit appraisal, and risk analysis

  .
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
