Senior Manager - Manufacturing Excellence & Technological Expert

As a candidate for the role, your responsibilities will include: - Identifying technological improvement opportunities across the value chain and finding technical solutions - Implementing improvement projects by identifying new cutting-edge technology and technology upgradation in areas like energy, quality, and productivity - Managing the implementation of projects end-to-end, including identification, conceptualization, supplier management, cost-benefit analysis, internal stakeholder management, budgeting, and implementation - Identifying pain points in processes and exploring new technologies to address them - Leading continuous improvement, problem-solving, and process improvement activities - Conducting benchmarking studies to determine best practices, designs, and future trends - Liaising with external technology providers, suppliers, and contractors - Generating Management Information System (MIS) reports - Utilizing negotiation skills to convince all stakeholders - Demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills, ability to present data effectively, and problem-solving skills - Understanding and practicing Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Qualifications and Experience required: - Post-graduation or graduation in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical) - Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification from a Professional Body - Minimum 10+ years of working experience in manufacturing plants, especially in Glass, Steel, or Cement industries, focusing on implementing technology improvement projects and process improvements - Technical expertise in the relevant work area with a distinguished record of creativity and innovation - Proficiency in using computers and MS Office packages Additionally, the critical success factors for this role include: - Proven experience in delivering Operational Excellence (OE) projects with target cost-saving values within specified timelines - Inclination towards understanding and adopting current technology trends - Strong project management, data analytics, and change management skills - Assertive, self-driven, and influential personality - Ability to work well in a team, adaptability, and flexibility.,
