Senior Manager I - Planning

Planning & Business Analysis:

• Work closely with Business teams to understand the business model and develop Capacity models/plan
• Work customer backwards to enhance customer experience through better Service Speeds
• Be an SME for Capacity planning with in-depth understanding of Capacity planning models and tools, processes
• Drive Speed / Capacity planning improvements. Identify and implement cost reduction and waste removal initiatives

Planning Processes:

• Closely monitor the Capacity/Speed metrics performance, develop insights and course correct plans
• Develop and continuously evolve dashboarding/reporting to ensure a Laser-sharp focus on Capacity/Speed metrics
• Champion data-driven decision making. Translate data analysis into decision recommendations for the business
• Work towards developing solutions using GScripts / R / Python to automate Planning models and processes

Supply Chain :

• Understand key drivers of Supply Chain from demand and supply side
• Build input driven scientific plan/forecast for supply chain and; monitor key supply chain metrics
• Innovate new ways of working to improve forecasts and optimize supply chain cost, reliability and speed.
• Work with large teams to bring consensus and finalize planning numbers with all functional stakeholders
• Continuously track specific resource and space requirements based on agreed plans with Supply Chain stakeholders
• Build planning configurations in tech products to ensure smooth supply chain execution
• Understand product interactions and  drive business use case led improvements with product

 Analytics :

• Ability to analyse large data and convert into simple presentable forms
• Proficient in problem solving involving large data sets and  advanced optimization
• Produce trends and charts for performance monitoring &  control on daily, weekly, monthly basis
• Proficient in developing zero-touch automated solutions with self-serve capabilities
• Ability to build sustainable models around supply chain planning KPIs using agile philosophy
