Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Manager HR & Industrial Relations to lead the people function at a large infrastructure project.This is a high-responsibility role involving end-to-end site HR management including HR governance, statutory compliance, IR handling, and workforce deployment across on-roll & contractual employees.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Site Operations

- Establish HR processes for a large industrial site- Implement HR frameworks for onboarding, engagement, performance & exits- Ensure seamless coordination between site teams, facilities & leadership

2. Industrial Relations & Compliance

- Maintain a healthy IR environment- Manage union/labor interactions when required- Ensure full compliance with statutory & labor laws- Handle grievances, inquiries & disciplinary actions

3. Workforce Management

- Manage deployment of on-roll and contract manpower- Ensure productivity, safety & workforce discipline- Support leadership in daily site operations

4. Culture & Capability Development

- Build a culture of ownership, accountability & collaboration- Drive L&D initiatives based on site requirements- Act as the custodian of values and workplace ethics

Qualifications

- MBA/PGDM in HR- 5-7 years of experience in HR- Minimum 2 years in plant / industrial HR / IR- Working knowledge of labor laws & compliance- Strong stakeholder and leadership interaction skills- Greenfield project experience is a plus
