Senior Manager (Electromechanical)

Purpose/Objective

To oversee all electromechanical field engineering services and IT systems for Hydro PSP projects. This includes managing installation, testing, and commissioning of hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring digital integration of systems, and supporting project execution through advanced IT tools and analytics.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead field engineering activities for hydro turbines, generators, transformers, switchgear, and auxiliary systems - Supervise installation, alignment, and commissioning of electromechanical equipment - Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and quality protocols - Coordinate with OEMs, EPC contractors, and design teams to resolve site-level technical issues - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures - Manage IT infrastructure and digital tools at project sites including SCADA, PLC, and remote monitoring systems - Ensure integration of electromechanical systems with centralized control and data platforms - Oversee cybersecurity, data logging, and real-time analytics for operational efficiency - Support digital transformation initiatives including predictive maintenance and digital twin technologies - Train site personnel on IT systems and ensure effective utilization - Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and risk assessments for senior leadership - Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for electromechanical and IT activities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of Hydro PSP works

Technical Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Field Engineering works. - Knowledge in SCADA systems, or IT Infrastructure are desirable.
