Category Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct SWOT analyses and monitor competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
Performance Management
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to optimize category performance.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margins, and inventory turnover.
Product Selection & Merchandising
- Collaborate with buying/procurement teams to select product assortments.
- Recommend pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize ROI.
Supplier & Vendor Relations
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely product delivery.
- Source new suppliers and ensure compliance with quality and cost standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with marketing, supply chain, finance, and store operations to drive category success.
