What the role is all about:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager, Business Services with 8-12 years' experience to oversee the operations of our Global Capability Center. This role will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and financial integrity while supporting the overall goals of the organization

While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:

Office Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and improve service delivery.

Compliance Oversight:

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements across operational functions.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and international standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Tax Filings and Compliance Management:

• Oversee the filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Liaise with local tax authorities and external consultants regarding tax matters
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization

Procurement and Vendor Management:

• Manage procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in services and products
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements
• Evaluate vendor performance and address any service-related issues.

Accounting Oversight:

• Oversee the accounting work performed by external vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Review financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information

Financial Statements and Management Accounts Preparation:

• Prepare and submit financial statements and management accounts to the headquarters
• Analyze financial data and present findings to senior management, offering insights and recommendations

Who we’re looking for:

• Chartered Accounts or MBA or relevant professional certification
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business services management, preferably in a GCC set-up
• Strong knowledge of local tax laws, compliance regulations, and accounting principles
• Experience in managing procurement processes and vendor relationships
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional relations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at various levels
