Senior Manager - Accounts Payable

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing month-end/year-end close processes, providing strategic direction and leadership for the team, collaborating with senior leadership, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently met, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading process automation efforts. Additionally, you will manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, implement training programs, conduct audits for compliance and risk management, and analyze financial data for reporting and optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee month-end/year-end close processes - Provide strategic direction and leadership for the team - Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute long-term strategy - Ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process automation - Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team - Implement training programs for team development - Conduct audits for compliance and risk management - Analyze financial data for reporting and optimization - Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders - Build strong cross-functional relationships - Work closely with the broader finance team for integration and alignment - Utilize technical skills in Oracle R12 and Fusion - Demonstrate excellent project management abilities - Deep understanding of P2P, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance - Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills - Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Apply strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving - Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or above in Accounting/Finance or related discipline/MBA /CA /CWA /CFA - 12+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or shared services, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role - Proven experience managing large-scale finance operations for diversified geographies - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines - Occasional travel may be required based on organizational needs,
