Job Description

As a Finance Manager, your role involves overseeing and managing the vendor master data effectively, ensuring compliance with TDS, GST, and MSMED laws in vendor invoice processing. You will be responsible for timely submission of import documentation to banks, monitoring aged items under IPDMS, and collaborating closely with bankers. Additionally, you will need to ensure compliance with employee-specific policies in processing employee claims, defining exception handling processes, and resolving supplier billing discrepancies with business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage vendor master data and exercise control over vendor master data - Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, and MSMED laws in vendor invoice processing - Submit import documentation promptly to banks and monitor aged items under IPDMS - Implement and maintain compliance with employee-specific policies in processing employee claims - Collaborate with business operations to resolve supplier billing discrepancies - Settle vendor advances promptly and monitor aged advances closely - Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances in real-time - Leverage ERP capabilities for automation and process improvements - Adhere to internal controls and DAO matrix defined for P2P process - Review expense GLs to ensure correct bookings to GL and cost center - Manage Monthly/Quarterly Accruals for expenses in collaboration with business finance teams - Work closely with financial reporting team for smooth month-end closure - Perform vendor reconciliations as per defined frequency and internal control framework Qualifications Required: - Qualified CA/ICWA/MBA with 9-13 years of post-qualification experience - Proficient in transactional finance with understanding of TDS and GST laws - Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and represent AP function at leadership level - Knowledge of accounting principles and clarity on P2P process - Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Working knowledge of ERP/SAP/Netsuite is desirable In this role, you will also be expected to build strong relationships across functions, monitor the performance of direct reports, provide coaching, conduct performance reviews, and promote employee recognition. Effective communication within the department and externally is crucial. Regular staff meetings should be conducted to keep employees informed about company/department plans and progress.
