Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Associate to support the Company’s legal and compliance functions. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, mitigating risks, and safeguarding the Company’s interests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a sound understanding of corporate legal practices.
Key Responsibilities :-
1. Review, analyze, and interpret contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and minimize potential risks.
2. Draft, vet, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including but not limited to NDAs, MOUs, Service Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, routine business agreements, policy documents, legal notices, and official correspondence.
3. Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts to secure favorable outcomes for the Company while ensuring risk mitigation.
4. Provide practical and tailored legal solutions aligned with client and business requirements.
5. Represent the Company and clients in scheduled hearings, motions, and conferences, ensuring timely and effective advocacy.
6. Prepare, review, and manage litigation-related documentation, including complaints, petitions, replies, rejoinders, and other submissions, in collaboration with external consultants.
7. Foster and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, external legal counsel, and other stakeholders.
8. Liaise with courts, tribunals, and relevant government authorities for compliance, filings, and other legal matters.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in non-litigation legal practice.
2. Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. High level of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive legal matters.
5. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Qualification
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
