Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Internal Auditor to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records (IFRS), and efficiency of operations. You will play a key role in identifying risks, recommending improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls and support organizational growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS standards and internal policies.

•⁠ ⁠Perform detailed reviews and analysis for monthly book closures.

•⁠ ⁠Identify control gaps, prepare audit findings, and recommend improvements.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

•⁠ ⁠Assist in the development and enhancement of internal controls and standard operating procedures.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management.

•⁠ ⁠Evaluate and improve risk management, governance, and internal control systems.

•⁠ ⁠Provide audit support during external audits as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

•⁠ ⁠Qualified or Intermediate Chartered Accountant Background

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an internal audit role.

•⁠ ⁠Real estate industry experience is a strong advantage.

•⁠ ⁠Thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in handling monthly book closures and financial reporting.

•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Other Details:

Location: Ajman, UAE (relocation required).

Immediate availability preferred.
