Senior Instrumentation Engineer

· you will be a key contributor to our engineering team, responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimization of instrumentation systems and equipment

· Your role involves ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of measurement and control systems

· Instrumentation Design: Design, select, and specify instruments and control systems for new projects or process improvements

· Collaborate with project teams to ensure instrumentation requirements are met

· Instrumentation Installation: Oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation equipment

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

· Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation systems to ensure they function correctly and efficiently

· Diagnose and repair instrument-related issues

· Instrumentation Optimization: Optimize instrumentation systems to improve accuracy, reliability, and efficiency

· Identify and implement upgrades or enhancements

· Control Systems Integration: Integrate instrumentation with control systems (eg, DCS or PLC) to facilitate process control and automation

· Program and configure control systems as necessary

· Calibration and Testing: Perform calibration and testing of instruments and measurement devices

· Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with industry standards

· Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of instrumentation designs, specifications, and maintenance records

· Create as-built drawings and update documentation as needed

· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that instrumentation systems comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations

· Participate in audits and inspections

· Spare Parts Inventory: Manage spare parts inventory for critical instrumentation equipment

· Ensure availability of essential components

· Safety: Promote safety procedures and practices in instrumentation activities

· Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments

· Training and Support: Provide training and support to maintenance and operations teams for proper instrumentation usage and troubleshooting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
