Job Title: Incoming Quality HVAC Industry Department: Quality control and Assurance Location: Sri City - Andhra Pradesh Key Responsibilities: Inspect and verify incoming materials, parts, and components against defined specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks using appropriate inspection tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.). Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and initiate rejection procedures (NCRs/DRs). Coordinate with suppliers for quality concerns, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Maintain records of inspection reports, test results, and incoming quality trends. Collaborate with the purchase and production departments to ensure timely material availability with required quality. Conduct audits of supplier processes and material certifications (PPAP, CoC, RoHS, etc.). Develop and improve incoming inspection procedures and quality checklists. Ensure adherence to ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, or relevant HVAC industry quality standards. Support new product development and First Article Inspection (FAI) processes. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical components used in HVAC systems. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specifications. Knowledge of inspection tools, measurement techniques, and sampling plans. Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.). Basic understanding of HVAC components (Compressors, Coils, Motors, Valves, etc.). Good communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams. Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering stream. Experience in Incoming Quality Inspection in the HVAC or allied manufacturing industry.
