Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Role Overview: PM Group, a leading International engineering, architecture, project, and construction management firm with a global presence, is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join their Electrical and Instrumentation Department in Bangalore. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in supporting the Ireland Team for Instrumentation Design and Deliverables on various projects, providing instrumentation engineering design services, mentorship, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting the Ireland Team for Instrumentation Design and Deliverables on various projects - Providing instrumentation engineering design services including Instrument Index, I/O Lists / Allocation, Instrument Specification / Data Sheets, Layouts, Cable Containment, Block Diagrams, System Architecture, and Clean Room Applications - Ensuring ATEX compliance, including IS calculations - Guiding and instructing CAD Designers for Motor wiring schematic and Loop drawings - Documenting E & I Scope of work and related drawings - Participating in tender preparation and cost estimates - Designing PLC Panels, conducting FAT, implementing safety interlocks, emergency shutdown systems, and fire alarm interfaces - Reviewing system integrator / automation documentation - Mentoring junior and intermediate level Instrumentation engineering staff Qualifications: - Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics/ Electronics and Communication from a reputed University / College - 10+ years of formal experience with EPC/ Engineering Consultancy firm - Experience on US/ Europeans Projects is an advantage - Proficiency in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery - Advanced knowledge of all applicable Instrumentation engineering codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices - Experience in remote working with International offices/ Vendors/ Clients - Commercially aware with the ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies for cost-effective solutions Additional Details: PM Group, as an employee-owned company, values Inclusion and Diversity at its core.
