Job Description

Role Overview: Kite Analytical Services is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Instrument Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers, Technicians, and Helpers at the site, representing the company in meetings with EPC and customers, overseeing installation preparation, on-site supervision, configuration, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation devices. You will also be involved in quality monitoring, documentation management, technical interface, and providing technical support during system handover. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the team of Engineers, Technicians, and Helpers at the site, coordinating tasks and interactions with EPC/Client. - Represent the company in meetings with EPC and customers, updating them about job progress, concerns, and project schedule. - Review execution drawings, technical specifications, instrumentation datasheets, and loop lists to anticipate technical and material requirements. - Oversee the installation and connection of sensors, transmitters, control valves, detectors, etc., in coordination with Technicians and Helpers. - Program and configure instrumentation devices according to project requirements and interface with control systems. - Participate in loop checks, functional tests, instrument calibrations, and signal validation within automation and safety systems. - Ensure traceability of equipment and compliance with applicable standards. - Prepare test sheets, test reports, non-conformity reports, and modification requests, while keeping technical documents up to date. - Collaborate with commissioning, automation, safety, electrical teams, and suppliers to ensure proper integration of all instrumentation systems. - Support operations teams during system handover and provide assistance during the transfer to permanent operations. Qualifications Required: - BE/Diploma in Instrumentation with 8-12 years of experience. - Strong knowledge of measurement devices and instrumentation technologies. - Understanding of control systems, automation loops, analog and digital I/Os. - Experience in on-site testing and commissioning of critical systems. - Excellent documentation and traceability skills with a quality-focused mindset. - Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and highly regulated environment. - Good command of technical English for documentation and communication with international suppliers.,
