Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Instructional Designer to join our dynamic Learning & Development team and who had 5+ years of experience.. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of engaging and effective learning experiences for our organization. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to create comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and enhance the skills and performance of employees. As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will also mentor junior instructional designers and drive best practices in instructional design across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Design: Design and develop high-quality, innovative, and interactive learning materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual classrooms, job aids, assessments, and multimedia content.
  • Needs Assessment: Partner with stakeholders to conduct needs assessments, analyze learning gaps, and develop effective learning solutions to address specific business requirements.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate instructional content that is aligned with organizational objectives, learner needs, and best practices in adult learning theory.
  • Project Management: Lead multiple instructional design projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Learning Technologies: Utilize modern learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, etc.), and multimedia production tools to deliver high-quality training solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and ensure the quality of learning materials by adhering to established design standards, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in instructional content.
  • Evaluation & Improvement: Implement evaluation methods, such as surveys and assessments, to measure the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve the learning experience based on feedback.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor and support junior instructional designers and collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, resources, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, SMEs, and other stakeholders to ensure that learning solutions are aligned with organizational goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning and Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in instructional design or related fields, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective learning programs across various modalities (eLearning, ILT, virtual learning).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in instructional design tools and learning management systems (LMS). Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) and multimedia production tools.
  • Knowledge of Learning Theories: In-depth understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and best practices in curriculum development.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in managing complex learning and development projects, including scope definition, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, SMEs, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive training solutions.
  • Certifications (Preferred): ADDIE, SAM, or other instructional design certifications; certifications in learning management systems and/or eLearning authoring tools are a plus.

  • Experience in mentoring or leading teams of instructional designers.
