Technologies core to business operations and technical support such as Azure, Intune, SSO, MFA, and other similar capabilities are supported by this team.

This candidate must be comfortable with operating and maintain LAN and WAN technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, WiFi hotspots, VPNs and VPN concentrators, etc. and be comfortable with various networking protocols and services.

Key Responsibilities

Continually look to improve the business technology function with strong procedural automation tasks.

Management of the computer networks globally and play a key part in the development and transition to centralized managed offices.

Manage, upkeep and improve the asset inventory and maintain the tooling used to store that inventory.

To be a Technical Authority for Infrastructure and Corporate Technology IT services in the company.

Delivery of a first class, works first time, end user experience.

Unification of services through APIs, PowerShell, Automation and integration services. Automate everything!

Design, implementation and operation of SSO systems, automated identity management and permissions schemes.

Document deliverables, including setup guides, configuration and administration guides. Ensuring there is a documented process for all things completed.

Work closely with Corporate-IT and Security functions to ensure the business achieves its security goals and accreditations

Evaluation of new technologies and processes with justification to allow effective decision making for stakeholders.

Provision of Business Continuity plans and operationalization of the recovery strategy including periodic testing.

Develop and maintain the end-to-end monitoring of systems, services, with a strong preference for being proactive above reactive.

Ad hoc technical projects as required from time to time.

Liaison and engagement with third parties and integration to hosting and back-office systems

Vendor liaison for technical solution engagements

Providing mentoring and knowledge transfer to colleagues on all things, including our security standards, tools and processe

Lead knowledge transfer meetings with the view to bringing others to ‘subject matter expert’ standard as well as the transition of project work to BAU

Own strategic projects and deliverables while providing documentation, ticket refinement and the steps-to-implement as the subject matter expert

Be the advocates of security to the highest quality and achieving first class solutions to our global staff

Knowledge of working in an Agile SCRUM team, working with colleagues to deliver items on schedule

Essential Technical Skills

Degree level education in computer science or related engineering discipline; or more than 10 years' experience in an IT infrastructure role.

Enterprise networking, including Cisco, and Palo Alto device management.

Excellent PowerShell scripting and understanding of how tasks should be automated. Including the leveraging of APIs for integration.

Strong technical leadership.

Knowledge of Azure, Azure AD, AWS, Office 365

Creating and managing documentation.

Microsoft server platforms

Managing Microsoft Cloud PCs

Good understanding of TCP, UDP, ICMP, as well as various common network services and protocols.

Intune, Autopilot, MDM, MAM.

Understanding of the use of version and source control systems.

Knowledge of SAML, SSO and MFA

Understanding of the principles of system hardening, penetration testing and vulnerability assessment techniques for networks and web applications

Desirable Technical Skills

Python, Powershell, bash or other scripting languages.

Terraform, Harness, or PowerShell DSC

Backup and recovery methodologies.

Use of ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira.

Visual Studio development environments.

Experience with log management systems like Splunk or ELK.

Working experience of Agile and SCRUM methodologies.

Desirable training and knowledge
