About Goose Elevate

Goose

Role Overview

Senior Industrial Automation Trainer

Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced classroom and lab sessions on:
PLC Programming
(preferably Siemens platforms)
HMI/SCADA Development and Integration
VFDs, Servo Systems, and Panel Wiring
Industrial Networking
(Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
Instrumentation and Field Devices
Guide and mentor students through
buildable automation projects
, ensuring practical exposure and real-world relevance.
Provide in-depth troubleshooting and commissioning guidance based on real shop floor experience.
Support continuous improvement of the Goose Elevate curriculum and training standards.
Coordinate with the Goose engineering and service teams to align training content with current industry technologies.
Maintain lab infrastructure and oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of automation training kits.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma
in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience
in
industrial automation, project execution, or shop floor operations
(mandatory).
Proven expertise in Siemens PLCs, HMIs, Drives, and SCADA systems.
Strong understanding of industrial control panel design and system integration.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex industrial concepts into clear, practical lessons.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with
shop floor or commissioning background
in industrial automation systems.
Those who have independently handled or built
at least three automation projects
.
Experience working in a
system integrator, OEM, or manufacturing plant
environment.
Passionate about
training, mentoring, and developing technical talent
.
