About the Role

The Senior Human Resource Consultant will be responsible for leading HR consulting assignments, conducting client audits, creating HR systems and documentation, and ensuring compliance across client organizations. This role requires strong subject-matter expertise, client-facing skills, and the ability to travel for on-site and outstation visits.


Key Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation & Relationship Management

· Conduct regular on-site and virtual client meetings to understand HR needs and challenges.

· Provide expert HR guidance, recommendations, and solutions to clients across industries.

· Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.

2. HR Audits & Compliance Management

· Lead and execute HR audits for client organizations (process audits, compliance checks, documentation review, etc.).

· Identify gaps in statutory compliance, HR structure, and workforce systems, and prepare audit reports.

· Ensure clients comply with labour laws, company policies, and industry HR standards.

3. Policy, SOP & System Development

· Draft, review, and implement HR documents including:

o Company Policies

o Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

o Employee Handbooks

o Job Descriptions

o Organizational Structures

· Ensure all documentation is aligned with corporate HR practices and legal requirements.

4. Project Execution & Implementation

· Lead HR system implementation projects from start to end.

· Work closely with internal and client teams on policy rollouts and SOP execution.

· Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and quality benchmarks.

5. Travel & Field Assignments

· Visit client sites regularly for audits, training, reviews, and HR setup activities.

· Travel outstation as needed for project execution or client requirements.

6. Reporting & Documentation

· Prepare weekly reports, visit summaries, audit findings, and project status updates.

· Maintain structured documentation and ensure data accuracy in all client deliverables.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3 years of experience

· Strong exposure to HR compliance, policymaking, and audits.


Technical Skills

· In-depth knowledge of:

o Corporate HR policies

o Labour laws & statutory compliance

o HR audits & process mapping

o Policy & SOP documentation

o Recruitment systems


Soft Skills

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· Excellent client-handling and relationship-management ability.

· Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients/projects.


Other Requirements

· Willingness to travel frequently (in-city and outstation).

· Professional maturity, responsibility, and a solution-oriented mindset.

· Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
