Senior HR Manager

As an experienced and proactive HR Manager at our garments manufacturing unit in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource practices and processes. Your role will involve managing HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and workforce development. It is essential to have a minimum of 18 years of experience in human resources, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in a manufacturing setup and a solid understanding of labor laws, factory compliance, and worker welfare. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end recruitment for various positions including tailors, checkers, helpers, supervisors, etc. - Coordinate induction and onboarding programs for new hires. - Oversee daily attendance, shift management, and leave records using HRIS or manual systems. - Maintain a positive working environment on the shop floor and resolve grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues. - Ensure compliance with labor laws, Factories Act, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements. - Organize skill development and training programs for line workers and staff to promote productivity, safety awareness, and employee engagement. - Support the implementation of appraisal systems and performance tracking, and assist in identifying high performers and development needs. - Promote worker welfare measures, ensure workplace safety protocols, and coordinate with EHS teams if available. Skills Needed: - Strong knowledge of labor laws, factory compliance, and statutory requirements. - Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. - Leadership ability with hands-on people management experience. - Good communication in English and local language (Tamil/Hindi, as applicable). - Experience in managing a blue-collar workforce.
