Senior Hardware Engineer

About the job

We at Accolade Electronics are on the look-out for an Engineer and Sr Engineer to join our Hardware team.

Must have

• Design and develop electronic hardware for automotive applications, ensuring EMI-EMC compliance with electrical and environmental test industry standards.
• Hands-on experience with design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and simulation tools (e.g., LT-SPICE, P-SPICE MATLAB) to create and optimize electronic circuits and systems.
• Strong knowledge of discrete component calculations and finding appropriate solutions.
• Proficiency in communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet etc).
• Strong knowledge of DFMEA, RCA methods, microcontroller peripherals, analog circuits and digital circuits.
• Generate & review RFQs and BOMs for new projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to discuss design specifications, project requirements, and technical challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Good to have

• Design and integrate radio frequency (RF) components, GSM/GPS modules, and other wireless communication technologies.
• Experience with automotive industry functional safety and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100).
• Knowledge of basic software development for embedded systems (e.g., C, C++, python).
• Familiar with quality management system process and documentation according to IATF, CMMI, ISO etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for successful CFT and stakeholder discussions.
• Hands on with project management & tools e.g. Jira, Code beamer etc
• Experience in Telematics control unit, Motor controller unit, Body control module, driver assist applications.

• B. E. / B. Tech/ M. E ./ M. Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications
