Senior Hardware Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Hardware Engineer with over 6 years of experience in hardware design and development, particularly in schematic creation, component selection, and R&D for medical devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving hardware design projects from concept to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering reliable, innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

● Independently design and develop hardware schematics for medical devices.

● Perform component selection based on performance, cost, and regulatory requirements.

● Carry out analog and digital circuit design including filter design and R&D-based prototyping.

● Execute reverse engineering of hardware and perform troubleshooting at component and board levels.

● Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure optimal design implementation.

● Conduct design reviews, validation, and verification to meet functional and compliance requirements.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and QA during product development.

● Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners for design feasibility, prototyping, and production readiness.

● Prepare technical documentation, including BOMs, test plans, and compliance reports.

Requirements:

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D. in EEE, ECE, or related fields.

Experience: Minimum 6 years in R&D focusing on schematic design, analog circuit development, and component selection.

● Skills:

○ Strong proficiency in schematic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Ki Cad, or similar).

○ Deep understanding of analog and digital electronics, signal integrity, and power supply design.

○ Hands-on experience in filter design, PCB troubleshooting, and debugging.

○ Familiarity with hardware design considerations for medical devices.

○ Knowledge of PCB layout guidelines and EMI/EMC compliance.

Preferred:

● 6+ years’ experience in medical device hardware design or regulated industries

● Exposure to reverse engineering and rapid prototyping.

● Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in hardware optimization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
