Role & responsibilities Supervise software operations in India, reporting to the Director of Software in the USand work closely with US software managers to develop and maintain the full-stack webapplication. Manage a team of six software engineers. Owns overall responsibility for the performance, quality, and responsiveness of theapplication and code produced by the India software team. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams, contribute to the definition ofspecifications for features, and own the development of those features. Define and implement web services and the application backend microservices. Implement and/or assist with the web UI/UX development Provide coaching and professional development for the software team in India regardingconstraints and best practices in a web platform environment. Proactively identify and solve bottlenecks, fix bugs and performance issues. Owns responsibility for code quality, organization, and automatization in India. Ensure testing strategy is implemented and followed within the team. Provide technical support for the services you build in production. Ability to build and manage level 2 support team Travel to Indore, Bangalore and US offices as necessary. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Supervise code review, deployment and technical documentations.Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field). Minimum 10+ as full stack Development Proficiency in JS / Full Stack Frameworks(Node, React) as well as (MSSQL, NoSQL,). Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks. Strong experience in data structures and algorithms, design patterns. Hands-on experience in jenkins, dockers etc REST WebServices (GraphQL experience isa plus). Product/Service ownership or Project Management experience is a plus. Git version-control and collaboration Experience/Knowledge in Azure clouddeployments.
