Education and Experience: 7- 12 years embedded code experience, with emphasis on C Bachelor / Masters of Electronics Engineering and 5 + years of experience Experience in conducting bench modifications and fast development of hardware/firmware prototypes Experience with low power embedded devices Experience with real time embedded systems Experience with firmware development, testing, and system level bring up and debugging Experience in working with wireless communications modules (like BLE, LORA, 4G, NB IoT), IoT technologies, RF protocols Experience with Nordic (or similar) Semiconductor platforms Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment to enhance team productivity and innovation Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices to improve firmware quality and team efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, QA, product, and system engineering) to ensure smooth integration and delivery. Preferred skills: Strong experience with IoT systems and wireless/wired communication protocols 5+ years of experience in designing firmware that leverages real-time operating systems (RTOS) for time-critical applications using communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, GNSS, WiFi, RFID or low-power IOT based embedded protocols. Proficiency with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers to troubleshoot and optimize embedded systems. Experience developing bootloaders, firmware over-the-air updates, BLE low-power devices Experience with microcontrollers and driver development for embedded peripherals Experience on evolving embedded sensor technologies and networks Comfortable reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics Experience with embedded network exchange protocols like with RSTP, PTP, LLDP and UDP/TCP is highly regarded
