Senior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Development: Architect, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable frontend components and systems using React, React Native, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Product Development from Scratch: Lead the development of new, innovative frontend products from initial concept to successful launch.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small, growing team of frontend engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and career development support. You should currently be in a lead position within your organization.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with the product and design teams to translate ideas and wireframes into polished, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces. Possess the ability to drive UI/UX development even in the absence of clear designs.
• Technical Vision: Drive the frontend technology roadmap, making key architectural decisions and promoting best practices.
• Test-Driven Development: Champion and implement test-driven development (TDD) methodologies to ensure the reliability and robustness of our applications.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with backend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless and integrated user experience.
• Clear Communication: Effectively articulate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Expert-level proficiency in React, React Native, JavaScript, and HTML5/CSS3
• Demonstrable experience in building complex, user-centric frontend applications from the ground up.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your work and technical capabilities.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and a keen eye for detail and design.
• Experience with modern frontend development tools, such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
• Adept in Test-Driven Development (TDD)and a strong advocate for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e. g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Experience with React Native for mobile application development.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
