Construction has been a highly unorganized and severely tech-deficit industry globally. Earlier Sequoia Surge, Foundamental, HDFC Capital Advisors Limited and Stride Ventures have invested in Brick&Bolt. In Jan 2023, we raised Series A2 Funding of $10million from Accel and Celesta Capital About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Executive with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial activities related to ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring smooth processes, accurate tracking, and adherence to financial regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees day to day accounting - P2P, reconciliation, invoicing, inventory management, PR & PO generation, accounting entries, and vendor onboarding
  • Oversees the development and operations of the finance departments in the company
  • Create and analyses financial monthly or annual reports to senior managers
  • Develop and implement Standard Operations Procedure (SOPs) for effective project handling, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Address and resolve taxation-related issues concerning projects, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and minimizing financial risks
  • Monitoring & verifying daily accounting and finance related activities


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in finance
  • B.com, M.com, MBA or a Semi Qualified CA
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Well versed in Tally, Zoho, Accounting, GST, TDS, Journal Entries, and Excel
  • Good understanding of finance, accounting principles, and taxation regulations
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools for accurate tracking and reporting
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
