Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team leader to review our general ledger process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis. The person will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the day-to-day activities of the finance team, and foster a collaborative work environment. Key responsibilities include bank and balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining schedules, performing variance analysis, and reviewing the activities in the general ledger process.
What this job involves:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the finance team and ensure the completion of all general ledger-related tasks.
- Prepare, review, and analyze general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of all balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve any variances.
- Maintain prepaid schedules and perform monthly analysis to ensure accurate recording and amortization of prepaid expenses.
- Conduct variance analysis on key expense and revenue accounts to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure accruals and expenses are accounted for appropriately in a timely and accurate manner.
- Enforce compliance with Firm's financial, operating policies/procedures, and SOX requirements.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including preparing financial statements and schedules.
- Drive finance process improvement initiatives to improve process efficiency and standardization.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

- Degree in Accounting (B.com, M.com & MBA) or relevant professional accountancy qualification.
- Preferably 2-4 years of working experience with regional exposure in MNC and/or audit experience with Big 4.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with all levels of management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a high level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work across various time zones based on business needs. Working hours could stretch across APAC, EMEA & North America region timing.
- Good team player, independent, and able to work under tight timelines.
- Experience with US GAAP a plus
