Key Responsibilities:


1. Campus & Hostel Operations


  • Oversee day-to-day functioning of campus and hostel facilities, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate maintenance of electrical (High Side and Low Side), mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Act as a first responder for operational emergencies and resolve matters with agility.
  • Support campus readiness activities for academic and non-academic events.


2. Facility & Infrastructure Support


  • Monitor upkeep of classrooms, hostels, dining halls, and recreation areas.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Supervise small-scale civil, repair, and renovation projects on campus and hostels.
  • Escalate and coordinate with vendors/contractors for timely issue resolution.


3. Dining & Mess Operations (Support Role)


  • Supervise hygiene and quality checks in dining/mess facilities.
  • Support vendor coordination and ensure smooth mealtime operations.
  • Address student/staff feedback promptly.


4. Vendor & Resource Management


  • Liaise with service providers (security, housekeeping, maintenance vendors) for day-to-day requirements.
  • Track and report on service quality, inventory, and minor procurements.


5. Asset Tracking & Compliance


  • Maintain records of assets (electrical equipment, furniture, tools).
  • Support compliance with safety, fire, and environmental standards.
  • Assist in audits and inspections as required.


Qualifications & Experience:


Education:

  • Diploma/Engineering in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).


Experience:

  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience in campus operations, facility management, or hostel administration.
  • Hands-on exposure to electrical maintenance, facility upkeep, and vendor coordination.
  • Prior experience in educational institutions, residential/commercial facility management is preferred.


Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, campus facilities, and preventive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with safety, fire, and hygiene standards.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and facility tracking tools.

  • Proactive, responsive, and service-oriented with strong ownership.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders – students, vendors, and staff.

Remuneration:

Compensation will be competitive and benchmarked to industry norms, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
