Senior Executive - Taxation

Job Title: Senior Executive – Taxation Location: Vadodara (Onsite) Role Overview: The Senior Executive – Taxation will be responsible for supporting the finance function with a focus on direct and indirect tax compliance, financial reporting, and statutory requirements. This role combines hands-on operational tasks with occasional analytical responsibilities to ensure efficient financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong tax knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial activities independently. Key Responsibilities: Functional / Technical Competencies: Prepare and finalize books of accounts and financial statements for year-end closing. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations. Handle all aspects of Direct and Indirect Taxation , including filing, payment, and compliance. Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Support internal audits and assist in financial data validation processes. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, government departments, and tax consultants. Assist in budgeting, forecasting , and variance analysis . Manage or support tax appeals and assessments (experience with US tax systems is an added advantage). Ensure adherence to statutory compliances across relevant jurisdictions. Technical Tools Exposure: Tally ERP for accounting and financial operations. Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations. Show more Show less
