Senior Executive - Customs Clearance

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

• Customs Clearance & Documentation

• Handle complete customs clearance activities including checklist preparation, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, and pre/post-shipment documentation.
• Ensure adherence to customs laws, SEZ/FTWZ regulations, tariffs, notifications, and classification requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and BOEs as per regulatory norms.

• Liaison & Coordination

• Liaise with customs officers at FTWZ, SEZ, seaports, and airports for timely clearances.
• Resolve customs queries, issues, and disputes efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, warehousing, and CRM for shipment planning and cargo movement.

• Compliance & Regulatory Activities

• Ensure compliance with FTWZ/SEZ guidelines and customs regulations for imports, exports, and re-exports.
• Manage activities related to FSSAI, ADC, BIS, WPC, and other statutory bodies as required.
• Oversee movement of goods within FTWZ and verify accuracy of documentation.

• Operational Management

• Guide and instruct clearance teams including H-Card holders (for supervisory/G-Card roles).
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely clearance at all locations.
• Maintain healthy working relations with customs and related government authorities.

Skills & Requirements:

• Valid

  G-Card or H-Card

  (based on role).
• Minimum

  5 years of customs clearance experience

  , preferably in FTWZ/SEZ environments.
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs tariff, notifications, and clearance procedures for air and sea cargo.
• Familiarity with FSSAI, ADC, BIS, WPC and other regulatory processes.
• Excellent communication skills; soft-spoken and capable of effective liaison.
• Problem-solving ability and capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in customs documentation software/tools.

• Should know Telugu, Hindi, and English.
