Prepare, review, and maintain all necessary import/export documentation , including shipping instructions, commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading . Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, E-way bills , and other statutory requirements. Plan and monitor daily dispatches to ensure on-time delivery to clients and internal departments. Track shipments and address issues related to delays, damages, or shortages . Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipment status, gate passes, invoices, and delivery challans . Liaise with internal departments such as procurement, sales, production, and accounts to ensure seamless logistics coordination. Implement cost control strategies through route optimization, load planning, and vendor negotiations. Generate and analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports on shipment performance and logistics KPIs. Key Skills & Competencies: Thorough understanding of domestic and international logistics operations. Working knowledge of export-import policies, incoterms, HS codes , and trade compliance. Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems, MS Excel , and logistics software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities . Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment . Preferred Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline . 35 years of experience in a logistics role with exposure to both import/export and domestic movements .
