Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role located in Gurgaon for a Senior Engineering Manager. The Senior Engineering Manager will lead cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring the successful delivery of solar energy projects. Key responsibilities include overseeing project design and execution, managing engineering operations, mentoring team members, and driving innovative technical strategies. This role demands close collaboration between stakeholders, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Architect and design scalable, modular, and secure SaaS platforms.

• Lead integration of AI/ML components, including GenAI, NLP, and automation tools.

• Modernize legacy systems (e.g., PHP to Node.js migration) and drive infrastructure upgrades.

• Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), DevOps, and system observability.

Product Execution

• Partner with Product, Design, and Business teams to define and deliver tech solutions.

• Manage end-to-end development lifecycle — planning, execution, QA, deployment, and

optimization.

• Ensure platform reliability and scalability through robust engineering processes.

• Evaluate and integrate third-party APIs and emerging AI technologies.

Team Leadership & Culture

• Build and mentor a high-performing team of backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers.

• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and support career growth.

• Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with the Talent team to attract and retain top engineering talent.

Strategic Tech Initiatives

• Create and maintain tech and AI roadmaps aligned with product and business goals.

• Drive AI-first initiatives and lead platform-wide technology transformations.

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our product ecosystem.

• Influence executive-level decisions through strong technical communication and insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field.

• 7–12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership

capacity.

• Proven track record in architecting and scaling SaaS or B2B platforms.

• Strong full-stack development background: Node.js, Java Spring Boot, React.js.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and system design.

• Experience in agile, cross-functional teams.
