Role Overview: You are required to lead the sales efforts in the Portable & Stationary Generator Vertical as a Senior Sales Engineer. Your role involves achieving sales targets, building client relationships, working with channel partners, identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales process, and providing post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. You should have a deep understanding of genset products, market trends, and technological advancements. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve Sales Target for the M&S Division in the assigned area. - Build and maintain lasting client relationships by understanding genset products and driving growth. - Collaborate with a team of Channel Partners to achieve sales targets. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the M&S generator set market. - Manage the complete sales process and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Provide post-sales support and follow-up for ongoing client satisfaction. Market and Product Knowledge: - Be well-versed with M&S range, industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements. - Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to stay updated on product features. - Educate clients and prospects about product benefits, features, and applications. Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. - Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize sales strategies. Collaboration: - Work closely with marketing and technical teams to develop promotional materials. - Coordinate with service and support teams for successful project implementation and client satisfaction. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. - Ability to analyze sales data and market trends. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills: - Experience in retail sales of lower capacity generator sets or power generation industry. - Knowledge of energy regulations and compliance standards. - Strong Customer-Objection Handling Skills. - Proactive, Go-Getter, Good Communication, and Interpersonal Skills. - Willingness to travel as required.
