- Willingness to travel frequently at site and troubleshoot/ rectify the issues.
- Deliver & execute the assigned projects on time with good quality/ cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Has to provide process domain guidelines and solutions as per the Industry standards.
- Will be required to interact with the Project Managers in the region for delivering the project engineering services.
- Will be required to carry out / supervise / monitor and implement the complete project execution.
- Has to Manage and report multiple project deliveries with the complete process adherence, meeting or improving on budget, schedule and quality requirements with all the possible value additions.
- Coach and develop other project engineers
- Work with PM for scope management, including WBS development
- Participates in resolving escalations related to GEC engineering execution and collaborates with the GEC Engagement Manager & regional stakeholders for proper closure including lesson learnt sessions
- Provide adequate support to the regions on any large project pursuits.
- Ensures timely escalation wherever required to the right stake holders for the benefit of the overall project execution.
- Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve team's capabilities.
- Support Team Leader / Lead Engineer on technical issues.
- Work closely with Team Leader / Lead Engineer to guarantee customer acceptance.
- Maximize reusable standard product and engineering in project delivery.
- Work with Team Leader to manage technical risk in project
- Work with Team Leader to clarify technical issues.
- Cost reduction through process & manufacturing improvement, and through development of reusable engineering or engineering standard.
- Work closely with Team Leader to achieve customer acceptance. Demonstrate application & technical expertise to achieve repeat order and retain customer satisfaction

- Strong level of expertise in Integrated Architecture, Component and Architecture Class Standard Drives, , Safety Product, Networks and a understanding of Motion Control Servo drive Kinetix 5500,5700,6500
- Intermediate level of expertise in Industry Knowledge (Tire-Banbury, Tire building machine, Bead winding Curing press, calendaring machine ), Application Knowledge, Training Skills, and basic understanding of Project Management, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
- AC and servo drive selection based on Motor load and application
- Good Working Knowledge of Servo drives based on application like Bead winding, Tire building machine, cutter etc…
- Major Commissioning experience on PLC, Drive & Servo
- Technical Knowledge on Electrical Switchgear selection, Part selection for a drive/Servo application for starters and drives like Fuse, Contactor, Choke etc
- Different Electrical Standard knowledge like NEMA, IEC, UL508 will be an added advantage. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in automation engineering on PLC (Rockwell – Control Logix, PLC 5, Compact Logix), experience in automation engineering on Drive/Servo application engineering and design
- Should have gone through complete project life cycle from design phase to commissioning.
- Requires strong interpersonal, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
